CNN  —  The US Department of Energy has assessed that the Covid-19 pandemic most likely came from a laboratory leak in China, according to a newly updated classified intelligence report. Two sources said that the Department of Energy assessed in the intelligence report that it had “low confidence” the Covid-19 virus accidentally escaped from a lab in Wuhan. Intelligence agencies can make assessments with either low, medium or high confidence.

Contact lenses showed evidence of cancer-causing PFAS, or "forever chemicals," according to a new study commissioned by Mamavation and Environmental Health News.  The study, conducted in an Environmental Protection Agency-certified lab, tested 18 different contact lenses for indications of PFAS — which the EPA describes as "widely used, long lasting chemicals," whose components "break down very slowly over time." The toxic chemicals pose risks to human health and the environment.  The lab results were alarming: 100% of the popular contact lens products that were tested showed signs of organic fluorine, which is a marker for PFAS.
