New Nampa High School parking lot design finished in time for school
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — The City of Nampa says new safety improvements to the parking lot and surrounding area at Nampa High School have been completed in time for the start of the new school year.
The city says the new design reduces conflicts by have a single entrance and two exits to the lot.
Other improvements include roadway reconstruction of the south side of Lake Lowell Avenue, a new ADA compliant pathway, and improved drainage from the lot.
The city says enhanced pedestrian crossings on Lake Lowell Avenue that include rapid flashing beacons are expected to be completed a few weeks after school starts.
