Immersive flight ride 'FlyOver' headed to Las Vegas Strip

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A new attraction is coming to the Las Vegas Strip.
FlyOver, a new immersive flight ride, is coming to Las Vegas this fall, according to the attractions company Pursuit.
The company describes the ride as a state-of-the-art experience that will take guests on a "multi-sensory journey" over the American West's iconic landmarks, like the Strip, Grand Canyon and Lake Tahoe.

A 52-foot screen would surround riders as a moving platform and special effects, including location-specific scents, simulate the sensation of flying through the air.
"FlyOver in Las Vegas will give visitors a new and visually stunning way to see breathtaking landscapes of the American West," Lisa Adams, vice president of FlyOver Attractions, said in a statement. "Much like our FlyOver concepts around the world, our new Las Vegas attraction will push the boundaries of escape and take guests on the ultimate flying ride adventure."
The ride will be located next to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, across the street from Park MGM. There will be two ride theaters, plus pre-show entertainment areas and a full-service bar.
Pursuit says more details on the film content will be announced in the coming months.
